Driss Benhaddou

Driss Benhaddou

Benhaddou is a Professor with the University of Houston, where he is actively involved in a broad range of research activities in the application of computation and communication technologies in smart grid and smart cities applications. He is spearheading the development of a new state-of-the-art wireless and optical networking research laboratory at the University of Houston (https://uh.edu/tech/won/). Dr. Benhaddou’s areas of expertise include simulation tool modeling, software development, networking, switching system design, and routing protocol development. He has several years of industry experience implementing an extensive broadband test-bed for vendor equipment certification and research/development activities.
