John is the Policy and Education Specialist for Merrimack River Watershed Council, an environmental non-profit with offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is currently working with with researchers at the University of Massachusetts/Lowell to identify and recruit volunteers to take part in a 4-year testing program to develop hand-held devices that people can easily use to determine levels of heavy metals and other contaminants in their tap water.
