SenSys 2027 – ACM/IEEE International Conference on Embedded Artificial Intelligence and Sensing Systems

The ACM/IEEE International Conference on Embedded Artificial Intelligence and Sensing Systems (SenSys 2027) will be held May 17–20, 2027, in Boulder, Colorado, as part of CPS-IoT Week 2027.

SenSys provides an international forum for research at the intersection of embedded artificial intelligence and sensing systems, bringing together researchers and practitioners working across sensor networks, embedded systems, mobile and wireless computing, machine learning, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, and AI-driven applications.

The conference represents the unified research communities previously associated with SenSys, IPSN, and IoTDI. Beginning with their merger in 2026, the combined SenSys conference serves as a single flagship venue for research spanning intelligent sensing systems and embedded AI.

Topics represented by the conference include analytical and theoretical foundations for sensing systems, collaborative sensing using AI and machine learning, edge and embedded AI, autonomous vehicles and unmanned aerial systems, smart cities and buildings, industrial IoT, satellite systems, next-generation communications, secure and privacy-sensitive IoT, digital twins, physical AI, heterogeneous sensor networks, data fusion, localization, and new sensing technologies.

SenSys 2027 will also provide opportunities to present visions and emerging research directions, experiences from real-world deployments, tools, datasets, frameworks, and benchmarks that can advance research in embedded AI and sensing systems.

For the cyber-physical systems community, SenSys provides a venue for exploring how intelligent sensing, communication, computation, and AI can be integrated with physical environments to enable increasingly capable and autonomous systems.
